Avoid spraying water with any great force near the following places. Disc brake master cylinder and caliper. Under the seat - if water gets into the fuse box or battery, it can ground out the spark. When this happens the vehicle will not operate properly and the affected parts must be wiped dry.

Whenever your motorcycle will not be in use for a long period, proper storage is essential. It consists of checking and replacing missing or worn parts; lubricating parts to ensure that they do not corrode and, in general, preparing the motorcycle so that when the time comes to use it again, it will be in top condition.
