NOTE

 

Fuel Injector (Service Code 33)

Special Tool - Measuring Adapter: 57001-1700

Fuel Injector Power Supply Voltage
 Connect the Adapter:
  Digital Meter (+) → R (main harness R/BK) lead
  Digital Meter (-) → Battery (-) Terminal

Fuel Injector (Service Code 33)

Power Supply Voltage
 Standard: Battery Voltage for 3 seconds, and then 0 V

Fuel Injector Output Voltage Inspection

NOTE

 

Fuel Injector (Service Code 33)

Special Tool - Needle Adapter Set: 57001-1457

Fuel Injector Output Voltage
 Connect the ECU Connector:
  Digital Meter (+) → W/R lead (ECU Terminal 16) [C]
  Digital Meter (-) →Battery (-) Terminal

Output Voltage
 Standard: Battery Voltage for 3 second, and then 0 V

Wiring Continuity Inspection
 ECU Connector [A] ← → Fuel Injector Connector [B]
  W/R lead (ECU terminal 16) [C]

Fuel Injector (Service Code 33)

If the wiring good, check the ECU ground and power supply (see ECU Power Supply Inspection).

If the ground and power supply good, replace the ECU (see ECU Removal/Installation).

  1. ECU
  2. Engine Stop Switch
  3. Fuse Box
  4. Ignition Fuse 15 A
  5. Charging/ECU Fuse 30 A
  6. Ignition Switch
  7. Side Stand Switch
  8. Fuel Pump Relay
  9. Battery
  10. Engine Ground
  11. Frame Ground 1
  12. ECU Relay
  13. Fuel Injector

WARNING Gasoline is extremely flammable and can be explosive under certain conditions, creating the potential for serious burns.
